The front and rear suspensions. The rear suspension was poached from the 535i. The subframe and shock absorbers bolt up to the stock Bavaria mounting points. The urethane subframe bushings are housed in bushing carrier tubes cut from an E30 M3 subframe. Those "assemblies" were then welded into the 535i subframe. Koni shocks with Ground Control coil-overs finish it off. You can also see how the cage ties into the rear differential mount.

The 535i front frame rails were sectioned and grafted onto the Bavaria rails. The new, double-thickness rails were pushed apart 1/16". All the original suspension geometry was retained. So exact was the work that the front subframe was gently pushed up into place by hand. Everything else was again finished off with Konis, Ground Control coil-overs and camber plates, and more urethane.
